Explorer.exe Application Error

Have been getting this error quite often:

The instruction at "0x63623e69" referenced memory
at "0x0000004c". The memory could not be "read".

Click OK to terminate the program
Click Cancel to debug the program
-----------------------------------------------------

Clicking OK will usually terminate explorer.exe which
of course causes the whole desktop to dissapear and
I usually have to restart of logoff to recover.

I can get this error by simply closing a folder window.

WTF?

Start | Run | regsvr32 \u thumbvw.dll | OK | OK.

Remove IE 6.
