explorer.exe always crashes

I'm having an annoying problem with my windows explorer. I can browse my
folders, but if I live a folder open for a few minutes, when I pick it and
try to browse, explorer.exe crashes. What can I do?
 
I forgot to say it crashes and then restarts.
