Explorer error on shut-down

The following pop-up frequently comes up three times when I shut down:

Explorer.EXE - Application Error :
The instruction at "0x01fd5a6a" referenced memory at
"0x02040934". The memory could not be "read".

The Help and Support Center suggests "The program could not load a driver
because the program user doesn't have sufficient privileges to access the
driver or because the drive is missing or corrupt."

I have admin privileges, so it isn't the former. Which drive would it be
referring to? I ran chkdsk yesterday and no errors were detected on my hard
drive. The hard drive is assigned the letter "F:", and that causes problems
in some programs. Would it also cause problems in Explorer?

Try defragging as well. Sounds odd, but I have seen it solve similar
problems
