Hello everyone:

Windows 98SE

My computer when crazy yesterday telling me that it has
lost some information from the registry but that it was
able to recover it from some where.

When Windows started again it looked that it had gone back
in time and I had a lot of old stuff that I had deleted.

I try to clean as much as I could and everything looks to
be working OK, Excel, Word, Outlook no problem.

However when I try to open the Internet Explorer it did
not open. I have checked everything and I could not find
the problem. I also try using Netscape and I got the same
thing, nothing no error no message of any kind they simply
do not open.

Any idea why?
How can I solve this problem?

I am having the same problem, except on XP. But I know what was wrong. I had the Netsy.P@mm virus, which I removed. But somehow, I think that the executable file listed in the registry is missing, since I don't see it under the Run tab. Not sure about this???
