very often (but not always) when first going on line or
sometimes just browsing, I get the message box that
says "Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a
problem and has to close" then the browser closes and I
keep getting it each time I try to reopen it there is no
error number but the details list:
App name: iexlore.exe
mod ver: 4.10.0.2222
App ver: 6.02800.1106
off set: 0000.388
Mod name: kernel32.dll

I have search for an answer and cause to this and have
found a few simular problems but nothing exactly. any
help will be appriciated. thank you, winefred

It may be caused by some parasites,

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com

and:

SpyBot-S&D
http://security.kolla.de/

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.

Glad I could help.

Keep the removal tool up to date at least one a week later or, one a month
depending on your use of the net.
Then run them.
