Hope you can help.....
I was working on a new laptop yesterday, and apparently hit a website
that hit me with
some kind of Trojan virus.... My AV software flagged it, so I assume
I was okay...
But, to be sure, I ran a full scan, and a spyware scan... and all came
up clean....
When I rebooted, I login, and then a popup comes from EXPLORER.EXE,
and says:
"Application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click OK to
Continue"
I click ok (twice), and the computer is up, but Explorer is unable to
run.
I tried running it manually from Task Manager, but get the same error.
I did some searching on the web, but can't find an appropriate answer.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
