Application Failed to Initialize Properly 0xc0000005

I'm hoping someone can help.

I'm running WIN XP, Home Edition. When I boot up the PC, I get dialog boxes
stating: "Application Failed to Initialize Properly (0xc0000005) for the
following: IXApplet.exe, IPsecdialer.exe and PMremind.exe not able to
initialize. Each dialog box appears twice when I boot up. I'm not able to
access my Cisco VPN (secdialer?). I can't open Dreamweaver 4.0 to edit my
church's website. When I try to open attached or posted.pdf files, I can't.
Have to save them to disk, and then open them either with a reader or
Acrobat 5.0. My IE 6.0 is extremely slow and sometimes I'm unable to link
back and forth between pages. I don't have this problem with Netscape 7.2.

I notices these changes about 3-4 weeks ago, but can't pinpoint what may
have caused these problems. I'm also running a Norton's anti-virus and the
MS AntiSpy programs.

Any ideas or shared experiences from knowledgeable sources would be
tremendously appreciated. Thanks.

do you know what application theses files are related to?
is there any connection bet them.
Do they appear in your programs startup folder?
Do you have installed Print Master Publishing Suite?

Thank you for your response.

The IPsecdialer.exe is related to VPN (Cisco). I think the PMremind.exe
command is related to Print Master, which is installed on the PC. I'm not
sure what the IXApplet.exe relates to. There is no connection between any
of these applications. These are in the Startup Folder, along with a few
others, with which I'm not currently encountering problems.

I'm wondering if some Windows update may have caused this. All three of
these messages started happening at the same time. Which is also the same
time I've not been able to open Dreamweaver and I've not been able to open
my VPN connection.

I don't know enough about configurations and Registry to make major changes.
But, I'll try to see what I can do with the information you've provided. If
you happen to know or think of anything else I can look at, please let me
know. And, thanks again.

I would remove these problem applications: IXApplet.exe, IPsecdialer.exe and
PMremind.exe temporarily by using Msconfig and see if you still get startup
error,
or permanently by removing from Startup folder.

I don't know what Dreamweaver is.
Maybe delete your current VPN dialer and create new. then put in Startup
folder.

IXapplet.exe something d o do with imaging software.
Camio Viewer
Image viewing program that comes with digital cameras. Shows pictures that
are in the camera before downloading them. "x" in the name is the version

Will the print Master and imaging software programs wok okay from Programs
menu?

I also have this problem. This error:

The application failed to initialize properly
(0xc0000005).Click OK to terminate the application.

appears twice on startup and I cannnot access my Control Panel>Admin.
Tools>services.
Whenever I type something into the "run" box, nothing happens. PLEASE
help me. This is extremly frusturating and is preventing me from
enjoying my computer.
