Explorer acting up when I go into certain random folders

G

Giovanni Palermo

Whenever I go into some random folders, no matter what, if it's in My
Computer or Windows Explorer, Explorer crashes, and goes back to the
desktop, and reloading it, and the taskbar and such. If it's in Run, Run
crashes, and I get an error message for Explorer, saying it needs to be
closed, and the same thing happens with Windows Explorer. HELP ME!

Greetings,

Is your computer updated with the lastest Windwos updates?
www.windowsupdate.com

Also do try to scan for any viruses or spyware on your computer!

To check for viruses try using an anti-virus software - Norton Antivirus
(http://www.norton.com) or McAfee (http://www.mcafee.com).

There are also websites that provide free online virus scanning, here is a
list:
1) Trend Micro - http://housecall.antivirus.com/
2) Panda ActiveScan - http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/
3)BitDefender - http://www.bitdefender.com/scan/licence.php
4) Symantec Security Check - http://www.symantec.com/securitycheck/
5) RAV Antivirus - http://www.ravantivirus.com/scan/

You should try checking your pc regular if there are any spyware or adware
in your system:

Try these programs to check for any spyware that may be on your system:

Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Try SpyWareBlaster to stop intrusions:
