"Explore" icon

I just moved from Windows 2000 to XP. In 2000 I had an icon setup to the
right of the start button (I don't remember what that area is called) that
looked like a folder -- clicking it had the same effect as right clicking the
start button then selecting "Explore".

In XP I can't find that icon. Can someone help me restore this function?

thanks,
Rob

Hi

Right click on the Task Bar and select Toolbars>Quick Launch.

As Will said, once you get the quick launch tool bar available, create a
shortcut to Windows Explorer and drag/drop it there. The easiest way might
be to go to Start>All Programs>Accessories. Find the Windows Explorer icon,
copy it and paste it to the desktop. From the desktop drag/drop it onto the
quick launch toolbar.
