I am seeing something very irritating on my computer. It started about 2-10-2004 . On start up my computer is trying to connect to what seems to be an endlees stream of pop-ups. During any function on the computer while off line, it will constantly try to connect. Could I have downloaded a virus or can I fix this myself? Has anyone seen this latley? Anyone who can help solve this problem your help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Charles

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
