Hi all, as the topic says, what and how do
you fix this annoying prob!
An exception occurred while trying to run netplwiz,
addnetplace rundll"
I have looked on the MS site, BUT couldnt find
anything! Shouldnt it be there, if its one of their
errors?
I get this error sometimes, when I go into
a network folder (none of the folders are password
protected, nor are any of the PC's on the network.
password protected). I can still get into the folder
after I click on this error's OK button.
I think it has something to do, with this Advanced
Networking Pack For Windows XP that
was on the windowsupdate site. What exactly
is advanced about this update? Advanced
exceptions? errors? LOL. And do you NEED
this update? Also, when this update installed
it said something about something not registering.
Anyone come across the same message?
How do you make it, so whatever was meant to
be registered, gets registered?
But the entry still appears in Add/Remove programs.
Thanx for any info
