excel within word

nI inserted an excel worksheet on to a word document, entered all info then
clicked on the right of the spreadsheet, the sheet appears to be dark grey, I
have checked the borders and shading but this is on "no fill" when I preview
and print its fine, can anyone help with this

It always helps to mention the VERSION of Word involved...

The first thing that comes to my mind is that you may be seeing the field
shading: Tools/Options/View, set field shading to "Never" and see if that makes
a difference?
