Excel: text in cell is cut off

I have a lot of text in a cell. The text in the cell cuts off and no matter
what I do, I can't get it to show all of the text. I have tried everything-
wrapping and unwrapping, merging and unmerging, changing the columns and rows
sizes, etc. I cannot use two cells; unfortunately all of the text has to be
in one cell. I know a lot about Excel and formatting and I am stymied. By
the way, the same thing happens when I copy and paste the text into another
spreadsheet and on other people's computers. Does anyone have any ideas?

At worst, you could use the "shrink to fit" cell option from Format Cells /
Alignment. This is not going to be nice but you should see everything.

Can you post a screen capture (url to webpage preferred) of what it looks
like.

Hi,

Thank you for your help. Unfortunately the document has to look a certain
way, and shrinking will not work. As well, the document is highly
confidential, so I am not able to post a screen capture.

However, I found that by clicking Alt+Enter throughout the cell wherever the
text is cut off, essentially creating a new line at the end of the right cell
boundary over and over again, I can make it work. It is not by any means a
perfect solution, but it does the trick for now.

Again, thank you for your input.

Ah, it's because you are using multiple lines. I am curious to know why
"column Autofit", or "row Autofit" options wouldn't work and display
everything.
