Kevin, am assuming Excel opens OK and you can open other files OK??

Try the things that JK refers to on his link, and then if you still get no
joy it may be that it's corrupt, so by all means mail me a copy of the file
and I'll to recover it for you. Need to take the NOSPAM out of my email
addy.

Hi Jan, I think it was the bug in XL97 that happens when a file is copied
and then that is copied etc etc. Sheet name ends up being 111111111111111
and looks like it eventually bombed.
