Excel 2007 Crashes when Formatting Cells

Hi,

I have been experiencing a persistent crash of MS Excel 2007 when ever I try
to format the text in a cell or format a cell itself.

When ever I right click on a cell and select format cells, Excel hangs and
then forces me to restart the program.

This is very frustrating as I never had these issues with legacy Office
products.

I would greatly appreciate if someone could assist me in this regard.

PS. I have MS Office Professional, Vista Home Pro 32Bit.

Mike,

Create a small VBA program that handles the process for you.
It could create the pic/comment associations on open and delete them on close.

Ooops, you are correct.
Excel 2007 does crash frequently for me too.
Go to http://officeupdates.microsoft.com to ensure you have the latest Excel
2007 patches.
