Excel 2007 bug during protect sheet operation

We have discovered an apparent bug in Excel 2007 (sp1 and sp2 running on XP
and Windows 7 x32 adn x64).

The following causes Excel to hang:

1. open excel
2. Select Format\Protect Sheet
3. Select Locked Cells, Unlocked Cells, Insert Hyperlinks
4. Right click on the icon in the upper left corner next to the A and above
the 1 (the select all button.. must be right clicked). This will cause Excel
to hang.

Any ideas or suggestions?
