I am running a test image with EWF disk mode. After FBA completes I am adding a service (cygwin sshd). After install, everything is great. The service works, and I can see it in the registry. After reboot though, the service entry disappears.
After testing I found that ANY service I add is gone. Any file I create on the hard drive are there after reboot. Any changes to the software hive in the registry are also there after reboot.
In order to confirm this, I have created a second target, and deployed it with the same results.
Any idea? In EWF disk mode, aren't the changes supposed to stick?
