Everything's Ran in a Window...

for some reason most of the games i have installed in vista run in a window
by default. atleast with games like crysis and mass effect, i am able to
correct the issue and just tell it to go full screen in the game.

the only one i havent been able too do this with is assassin's creed. so
far it's just stuck in a 1680x1050 Window. anyone have a idea why its
defaulting all my games to window mode..?

i tried positng a direct x diag but the message was to long and it
wouldn't let me post it. and to be honest i just forgot and thought i posted
it along with the original message. so, sorry i guess? i dont know.

Abit IP35-E Mobo
intel core 2 duo 2.66GHz
nvidia 8800 GTS 512MB
4GB Ram
