Event Log doesn't show logs

Hi,

I found on one of our Windows 2000 Servers, Event Viewer
doesn't show any log when I launch it. I have to refresh
and then logs will be shown. However, even after doing
refresh, system logs are still not displayed although
it says there are 2264 events.

Does anyone know why?

There was a bug with Service Pack 4 for Windows 2000 that can cause the logs
to corrupt and not display if they reach their size limit. Here is the
