Event Viewer problem

I am having opening the application log of Event Viewer.
The Security and System Logs open but it will not display
the Application Logs. It shows there are log files but
will not display tham. Any ideas why this is happening and
how I can fix it.

Look at your filters and make sure their aren't any. You could also try and
view them from another machine through the MMC snap-ins. Or start the
server/workstation in safe mode, delete those two logs, and they try. Also
check your permissions on the folder.
