The max recommended lenght of an Ehternet cable is 100m. If you still want
to install a cable to the Xbox, try to re-arrange the plaement or look for a
special enhanced Ethernet cable on www.blackbox.com.
Also, wireless Ethernet adapters of game consoles (PS/2, GC, Xbox) are
starting to appear.
To cover 200 meters you will need a powered hub or router,
or you will need to use optical fiber with converters at
each end. 200 meters is too long a run for standard
Ethernet.
You can buy pre-made lengths or most home centers now sell
Ethernet CAT5 and 6 cable, connectors and tools to make your
own connections.
