Establishing home network connection

Hi...here's my problem:

I have two computers at home: (1) desktop with Win2000, and (2) laptop with
Win XP.

I have these computers connected to the internet via a wireless router
(Linksys). Both computers access the internet fine.

My problem: When I click on Start/ My Network Places on my desktop, I don't
see my desktop showing up on the list of computers on my home network. In
fact, I don't see the laptop showing up there either.

Question: How do I add my desktop to the network? (This is easy with Win XP
since it walks you through a wizard, but I can't find the same wizard with
Win2000). Help!

On your W2k, rightclick on my computer, properties, Network identification
and make sure the workgroupname is the same as on the other computer.
Than go to Control Panel, Users and Groups and add the useraccount that
you're using on the other computer.
On that other computer add the useraccount you're using on the W2k.
