Establishing a Domain Controller

Can a PC running Windows 2000 Professional in a network of
2 Win2kPro and i Win98SE be established as a domain
controller in a domain? If so, how? Or, must this
configuration of PC's be run as a workgroup? As a
workgroup must it use NETBEUI?

- You must install Windows Server to establish a domain
controller.
- The transport protocol (TCP/IP or NetBEUI) has nothing
to do with the workgroup or domain model. It is located
at a much lower layer.

No.

It must be a workgroup.
As a workgroup must it use NETBEUI?

Not even relevant to the subject. You can use whatever LAN protocol you
want, but I recommend TCP/IP.
