Hello is there any way to stop error pop ups in Windows XP Pro?

For instance my friend lets me borrow a cd with a program on it, when I take
out the cd, the program still runs fine, but every couple of minutes it has a
annoying pop up, after a few times it gets really annoying.........

Can someone please help me if there is a way to stop the pop up errors.

My error says please insert "my disc" into my cd drive.

That is not a Windows issue, it is caused by the program looking for it's
CD. They do this to prevent people from doing what you are doing, which is
considered piracy. You should consider purchasing a copy and that will take
care of the popups.

YES IT IS. If your friend buys a copy and then puts a copy on your machine
that is called piracy. That is why we have to put up with things like
Windows Product Activation, protected CD's, huge serial numbers,
dongles...all because of people like YOU.
