Errors with NO details in Event Viewer

Hello.

1) I have had this problem for the last few days now, and sometimes it
happens whilst on The Internet and sometimes not. For example, I use IE and
FireFox to browse the Internet, and whilst I am working away, an error will
pop up saying

Unhandheld exception in win32

And then it asks me to debug using Visual Studio, which I ignore. This has
happened with Windows Live Messenger as well, about win32.

2) On top of these problems, I play Battlefield 2 a lot as well. Again, only
in the past few days, I load it up, (I own it on DVD) it checks the disc etc,
I load a game, either online or offline and it loads, I begin the game and
after a few seconds (usually) or even a few minutes into play, the whole
application closes down, no black screens btw, and it leaves me on the
desktop.

I have tried EA support but to no avail. So, I check the Event Viewer for
this, and every time it closes it leaves two entries in the Event Viewer, and
they are the same each time, here they are:

"The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( ) cannot be found. The
local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL
files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the
/AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for
details. The following information is part of the event: 7."

The only difference each time is the 7 changes with a 6, and the code/text
in each is slightly different. What really annoys me as well, is that I want
to look up the error in the MS Knowledge Base, but I can;t as the Event
Viewer leaves no codes, here's what the fields in the properties of the error
says:

Date: 30/07/2006
Source: (blank)
Time: (current time each close occurs)
Category: None
Type: Error
Event ID: 0
User: N/A
Computer: (my Computer info)

Can someone please tell me what any of this means, regarding sudden program
closes and win32 errors.

Many thanks in advance for your assistance, my e-mail should be listed here.

This link may help.

Many thanks for yoor reply, I have checke dout the link and downloaded and
installed the 32-Bit Debugging Tools. I would like to ask, if you could
briefly explain what it does and how it may help me, that would also be
appreciated.
Regards.

Also take a look at these.

Thanks again for your reply, so when I next encounter program crashes, I
attempt to debug and this should fix the problems?

As for the game problems, would it be advisable to check for new ATI drivers
and BF2 game drivers?

Sorry no, this is a manual process. The logs may help you or the application
developer trace the cause.

You've got a lot of work and learning to do, but in the long run it
will pay off for you as a very good learning process.

Little help:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_screen_of_death

Windows includes a feature that can be used to manually cause a blue
screen. To enable it, the user must add a value to the Windows
registry. After that, a BSoD will appear when the user presses the
SCROLL LOCK key twice while holding the right CTRL key.[4] This
feature is primarily useful for obtaining a memory dump of the
computer while it is in a given state. As such, it is generally used
to aid in troubleshooting system hangs.

So it is of no use to me when the Internet browsers I have crash or the games
I play crash, to use the debugging software? What could you recommend then
please?

Regards.

For the browser issue. This tool may help

For the games you might check the developers web site FAQ
