Thanks - that didn't fix my problem either - I still get
the same error messages I listed previously. I don't have
AOL - I have a cable modem. So I would still be very
grateful for any advice anyone may have!

It may be caused by some popup stopper or by a parasite.

Remove all the parasites on your computer.
Delete all the spywares and bad BHOs from your system.
