Errors on My drive

Hi, I recently purchased a comp from a local dealer and installed Norton
Systemworks. When ever i run scandisk I get the following error "The
Operating System, or another process, currently has exclusive access to this
drive, or some of its files. Norton Disk Doctor cannot continue with repairs
under these conditions.". I want to scan my disk and defrag it but it dont
let me. WHat shud I do?

Uninstall Norton and do the tasks with the Windows Tools.

Forget about scandisk in Nortons. It's really just for error checking
without Windows XP.

Run Norton's defrag if you prefer it to XP's disk defrag.
