I can play DVD's , install software BUT!! wen I right click on a file and
send to my DVD drive I get: D;not accessible incorrect function. I don not
have Easy Cd creator installed

If I click on my d drive which is my dvd recorder I grt: Please insert a

Windows XP built-in burning software does NOT support burning to DVDs.
Purchase third-party software such as Roxio or Nero.

You still need third party software, Windows XP does support sending
files/folders to a DVD recordable disc.
