I updated my Realtek AC'97 Audio and after restarting my pc I have absolutly
no sound. When I went into sound and audio device proprtties, clicked on
c-media ac97 audio device it says this device cannot start (code 10)

If the sound card worked well with the previous drivers, open Start, Run, type (without quotes) 'devmgmt.msc' and press Enter. Double-click your sound card device, select the Driver tab and click on Roll Back Driver.

Well thats just it, I had trouble with the sound before that also. My mic
wasn't working properly and I was told to see if my drivers were updated. I
had sound through the speakers but my mic was very low when I talked on it
and had alot of static. I bought a new one and the same thing happened as
well as with the headset I bought. If I put the mic right to my mouth and cup
it and talk it works
