Error with Windows Update

When upgrading some critical updates from windows update, a prompt appears
during the installation stating that

"setup could not verify the integrity of the file update.inf. Make sure that
cryptographic services is running",

and the installation haults. I checked the cryptographic services, and it
was enabled.

How will I be able to work around this problem? Does XPE support widows
update? If not, what is the suggested method to deploy critical updates to
installed XPE devices?

Windows Update is not supported in XPe.

Look into DUA.
