Error with Jet Sp8 Hotfix

Hello NG,

during Setup of "Jet 4.0 SP8" i've got the following message:

Setup could not verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure the
Cryptographic service is running on this computer.

Whats wrong?

The status of the "Cryptographic service" is "Started" If i try to open the
Cryptographic service properties, following message appears:

Configuration Manager: The specified device instance handle does not
correspond to a present device.

Tobias,

As I understood,the set up is not running in the runtime ? I guess you
have
the primitives like crypt32 (new QFE, cryptdll ,cryptUI,Certificate
User Interface Extention,Core Certificate SErvices .
