Error: The server is not operational.

Hello All,

I have a problem in windows 2000 active direcoty.
I have two windows2000 domain controllers. both are
idividual domains. i establish a trust between them. now
i think i should access users of one domain from other
domain also. I want to set security permissions for a
folder on a system in one domain, for users of both
domains. let us assume A.com and B.com are two domains.
When try to set permissions for users of B.com on a system
belong to A.com it is showing the following error:

"Cannot display objects from the location because of the
following error:

The server is no operational"


Please help me in this regard,
