Error popup

Outlook is installed on my system but I don't use it. Every now and again an
error message pops up in Windows, saying

"Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot
fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as
the default mail client."

Does anyone know what's causing this?

Thanks for your help,
Adrian

For Outlook Express go to the link below. Since you are using the CDO interface copy\paste the link into your Browsers address bar.

The link didn't work, but I have posted my query in that newsgroup.

Does your reply mean that the error message is a product of OE and not of
Outlook?

That's because Mr. Foldes accidentally misspelled "msnews" in the domain.

There's also a new OE group at

It's not clear to me that that is the case. What mail agent is set as your
default mailer?
