Outlook not default client message

Hi all.

I have installed Outlook 2003 (our current version) on a virtual server
which is also running SQL Server 2005. Whenever anyone now connects to the
VS via Terminal Services, before the desktop is displayed, a messagebox
appears stating that "Either there is no default mail client or the current
mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request". Checking IE and Outlook,
however, shows that MS Outlook is very much the default mail client and as
logon has not completed at this point, I can't see what messaging request
could be queued up anyway. After clicking "OK" the logon process completes
and Outlook functions as normal.

I really need to eliminate the message but can't find a way to do it. I've
tried turning off the SQL Server instances running on that VS but that
didn't help. I also tried deleting the HKCM\Clients\Mail\Microsoft Outlook
key and repairing the installation; also no help. Uninstalling and
reinstalling Outlook doesn't do it. Office SP3 plus the Access post-SP3
hotfix have been applied.

If anyone could offer any advice I'd be very grateful.

Thanks for the swift response. As far as I can tell, no. The only thing that
should be active prior to logon completion would be the SQL Server instances
and as Outlook had never been present on that server prior to this, I don't
think they would have been configured to point at Outlook for their
sendmail.
