Error on upgrade.

Hello,

I have a friend that is trying to upgrade from Windows 98SE to Windows XP
Home and a older HP Pavilion PC and he keeps getting errors. I searched
Google to see if I could find some help, but there didn't seem to be much,
and there was nothing on the Microsoft support site. Here are the error
codes:

5DAFF58h
5FBFF58h

Any help would be appreciated.
