Message says contact tech support, can't do without
product id, can't get id without install, tech service
number is NOT IN SERVICE. No email address to ask for
help. Nothing on newsgroups that seems to help. Have tried
copying entire install CD to hard drive and installing
from there, still get same message, setup cannot copy I385
\mfc42.dll error 5fbff58h. Tried doing report and got a
different error that says contact tech support error
5daff58h. Microsoft.ca/support takes you around in
circles, with the product id thing. Where is all this so
called available help? Trying to upgrade from 98SE to
XPhome, I think I have been sold the Krashalot version. Is
there anyone out there who can help?
