XP Pro upgrade asking for nVidia AGP filter

I've got a couple PCs I need to upgrade to XP Pro, but I get an error
during the install process that I have an incompatible nVidia AGP
filter installed and I need to update it. Only problem is that these
computers have INTEL graphics, not nVidia. I have updated the Intel
graphics driver and it doesn't help.

I don't see anything in the add/remove programs about nVidia. These
are both HP Pavilion PCs. I know the latest one I tried to work on is
a Pavilion 532W. I have a 100% legit copy of the XP Pro install CD, so
I know that isn't the problem.

Any suggestions? How do I get it to perform the upgrade? I'm upgrading
from XP Home. I have also verified that the only video is the on-board
Intel chipset.

Try booting to xp cd,select either,r For recovery, press enter for password,
select 1 For C: If neither gets asked, type:Listsvc Locate the nvidia
service(s),
write down, exit Type:Disable Disable the service(s),type:EXIT When thru.
2nd option,select install xp,new copy,delete the partition (old OS),create
one,
then let xp format & install....Read kb307654 for more info in recovery

I'm afraid you misunderstand... I don't want to wipe and reinstall, I
want to *upgrade* the system to Pro from Home.
