Windows XP error messages

I get two error messages when I close down my computer.
1) my computer crashes with the error message
1\nicola~2000\locals~1\temp\3547appcompat.txt

2) McciAsyncEventMgrWnd
How do I get rid of these error messages

1)It looks like some program is using the file "3547appcompat.txt" and does not wnat to quit.. try looking at the task manager and see if there's any weird looking name

Flush your temp file by runnning Windows Key + R = Run Command, or Start > Run enter "%temp%" without quotes - CTRL + A to highlight all in your Temp folder - select CTRL + Del to empty.

The other is an issue with an installed program that I am not familiar with, have a look in your Event Viewer for any related error messages and post back.
