When using Norton System Works "One button checkup" I get
the following error message:
"C:\Program Files\common files\install
shield\Professional\run time\0701\Intel32\Dotnet
installer.exe" cannot access a necessary
file "Mscoree.dll"
How can I correct this ?

Mscoree.dll is part of the .NET framework for Windows.
Go to Add/Remove and remove the .NET framework there.

To reinstall .NET Framework go to:
www.microsoft.com/net or from the Windows Update Site.
