Error message

I received an error message when I tried to print a document from a program.
The following message was received
" The request to end the selected 16 bit task has timed out. The Win 16
subsystem may be unstable"
I have not had success finding how to solve this error message problem.

thanks for info. i will ck the link. the printer works fine on all other
doc programs. the program that is not typing is a profession IQ scoring
program that has always worked but suddenly stopped thus the error message.
