error message

When I am on line I am getting an error message that says windows has many
problems and is about to shut down and says I should go to www.reg-patch.com.
Does anyone know if this is a legitimate message and should I go to this
website? Thanks for the help.

Probably Messenger service spam.

Make sure a firewall is turned on. And you need to disable or remove the
Messenger service.
