Error message

Having returned to my computer after being away for 2 months, it asked for
all the updates as soon as I switched on. Now during start up I get the
following error message "S32EVNT1.DLL AND SYMEVENT.SYS DO NOT MATCH". I have
had 2 major shut downs since this has happened. It will not allow me to
restore to an earlier date. Please help!!!
