I was trying to install software from the software disc for a portable media
player and as soon as it starts running it ask which language, I click on
English and then it gives me this code:

c:/PROGRAM~Symantec/S32EVNT1.D... installable virtual device driver failed
DLL Installation. Choose close to terminate the application

If I click terminat it closes. If I choose ignore it does nothing.

I hope someone can help. Thanks!

Hi John John, thanks. I did those steps but now have a new error. Wonder if
you might me able to help.

Starts with: 16 bit windows subsystem in the frame top.

C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running
MSDOS and Microsoft Windows applications. choose 'Close' to terminate the
application.

That is a well known issue. Probably just a matter of copying the
Autoexec.nt file from the Windows XP cd or from the c:\windows\repair
folder to the c:\windows\system32 folder. See here:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=324767 Probably all that is needed
is the very last steps at the bottom of the article.

John
