error message

Help! When I start up the computer, I get an error message that reads
:Windows error: duplicate accounts exist on network". This only started
happening when our internet provider upgraded us to a newer dsl machine. It
was supposed to help the computer to be faster, but instead, everything is
slower, even bringing up regular window tasks. Which network would it be
talking about? This is before you log on to your user account.
 
The 'machine name' of one of the LAN members matches one of the user ID's
