Hi, I am having some difficulty when trying to send an e-mail, I get the
following message.
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'pophm.sympatico.ca', Server: 'pophm.sympatico.ca',
Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
P.S. I am not a whiz at computers, so please be gentle.
Thanks

Here's the instructions for Outlook Express; they should also work under
Windows Mail.

That's a message from trying to receive, not from trying to send.

Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no
protection not provided by the regular resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled. The latest version of Trend's
anti-virus seems to be causing problems too.
