error message - can't send or receive e-mail

Below is the error message I am receiving. Windows Mail was working fine
and then suddenly message would not send and I was asked to enter my
username and password over and over again.
any ideas?

Server Response: '-ERR command failed', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server

What if any antivirus programs are you using? Some of them cause assorted
problems in Windows Mail, such as this,

Also, you might want to check if Sympatico has changed their setup
instructions:

The instructions were written for Outlook Express, but should also
work under Windows Mail as long as they don't call for the HTTP
protocol.
