Error message when closing browser

Hello and thank you in advance for your help.

I have recently been receiving an error message when closing my browser
window. It is a typical error message that reads...

"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on
might be lost."...then proceeds to ask if I want to tell Microsoft about this
problem.

I have Version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519
...So yes, I do have service pack 2.

This only happens when I close a browser window, so the problem is more of
an annoyance than anything. Any suggestions or help with this is
appreciated.

Hi Eric,

More than likely its a add-in toolbar.
Disable your toolbars (Tools>Internet Options>Advanced Tab - 'Enable
third-party extensions') and if the error goes away you will know that this
is the case. Then you can use your Add-In manager to selectively disable
your toolbars one by one to find the one that is causing the problem and
then maybe un-install it.
