I get an error mssg everytime I try to send. Same with receive. I called my
IP and they said to contact Microsoft that it was an issue with the software.
Running Vista 32 IE8. Current on all updates. Please help!!

Well, don't keep the error message a secret. It is the key to resolving
what is wrong. Right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it
into a reply here.

I tried to copy/paste the error message- didn't take. Anyway- at the present
time, things seem to be working- If this occurs again, I will attach the
message on this same post.
I appreciate your response- even though I failed to get you the needed
information to help. Thanks.

Error message:This is the message that I get. As you can see, it is doing it
again-

Account: 'pop.east.cox.net', Server: 'pop.east.cox.net', Protocol: POP3,
Server Response: '-ERR Cannot connect to POP server 68.1.17.2
(68.1.17.2:110), connect error 10061', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server
Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90

Your settings are correct. It looks like your Cox mail server is having an
internal problem. Hopefully this will resolve itself shortly.

I hope so. I spent 3 hrs on the phone with Cox. They said that it was Micro
Soft Windows Mail that was the issue. Which is why I posted. My mail works
when it wants to. Sometimes I have no issues--other times, it doesn't work at
all.
Thanks for the help.
