I suddenly can't send emails. I've read other posts and nothing works. I
disabled my anti-virus; I've downloaded some microsoft thing; I have vista 32
bit.
I can delete the emails which get stuck in the outbox.
I can send an email to myself and receive it....
My error is this:
'553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)',
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79
anyone???

Likely to be a problem with the email address you are trying to send
email to. What is the part of that address following the @ character?

Also, which antivirus program? For a few of them, just disabling them
isn't enough to stop the problems they cause.

Just today I have started to have a problem with Vista Windows Mail in send
emails, no problem with the receives.
I have Vista Home Premium and version 6.0.6 Windows Mail.
No changes have been made to my accounts before the problem arose.
I get an error 421 as below

"An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'test', Account: 'Damien - BT
Yahoo', Server: 'mail.btopenworld.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '421
service not available (connection refused, generic failure)', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 421, Error Number: 0x800CCC67"

This seems similar to error reported above.
It is very strange to have occured so quickly. For some reason the
occasional email gets sent, usualy a tiny one.

Hope I can get some help.

That error message typically means that you are sending while connected
to a 'foreign' Internet provider. Foreign in this case means any connection
other than the one belonging to the mail server owner.

If you need more help with this, include the complete error message
(so I can see which SMTP server is involved), who your home ISP is,
and whether you were sending from home when you got that error.

Who is your mail server provider, and which email program are
you using? Please include a complete copy of the error message.

I have the same problem and the error message I receive is that my email
has been detected as spam...I have tried to email single and multiple
email addresses all with different providers..yahoo...hotmail..MSN etc I
can receive but not send email...

Contact support for your mail provider, and ask to be taken off their
blacklist. Sonds like you've set off a spam trap, and it doesn't matter
who you try to email, your mail is blocked on *your* server, not theirs.

You probably will have to call the support line, since if you email them,
they won't ever get it.

Getting off the blacklist can take some time, so in the interim, you need to
find another email server to use for sending mail, such as Google Mail.
You can set it up so that the reply-to address is your existing address, and
it will look to the recipient like mail is coming from that address.
