Mike

I have recently had a small home network setup between my
home desktop and my business laptop. Both computers are
running windows XP. I can connect through the main desk
top and do the internet and printing from my laptop as it
is supposed to. However when I try to share files from the
desk top to lap top i get and error message saying: not
enough storage space on network server. files can be
dowbloaded from desk top to laptop though. my problem is
getting into the desktop files. Can anyone help? I would
apreciate any help you can give

Greetings Mike,

The problem is on the machine you are attempting to connect to. It's not on
the machine you see the error message. On the computer you are connecting,
check the Event Viewer for an Event ID 2011. If so, you need to fix the
IRPStackSize that is indicated in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base
Article. Norton Antivirus can cause this to happen.

Antivirus Software May Cause Event ID 2011
